Job Title: Senior Security Analyst – Vulnerability Management

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst – Vulnerability Management to join a large enterprise cyber security team.
This role will support an established Vulnerability Management function by managing enterprise vulnerability scanning, assessment, reporting, and remediation activities. You will work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to identify, prioritise, and reduce security risks while driving continuous improvements across vulnerability management processes and tooling.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on security professional with strong experience in Tenable Vulnerability Management and enterprise-scale cyber security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the Tenable Vulnerability Management platform in accordance with security best practices.
- Configure, schedule, and maintain vulnerability scans and scan policies.
- Investigate and resolve scan failures and platform-related issues.
- Review, validate, and analyse vulnerability findings.
- Develop and maintain custom compliance audit policies across various operating systems.
- Assess and prioritise vulnerabilities and security misconfigurations based on business risk.
- Coordinate and drive remediation activities with technology and business stakeholders.
- Create, track, and manage remediation tickets through to resolution.
- Produce vulnerability reports, dashboards, and security metrics for stakeholders.
- Communicate vulnerability trends, risks, and remediation status to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including new security tools, automation, documentation, and process enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential
- Extensive experience in Vulnerability Management within large enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Tenable Vulnerability Management (Tenable.io / Tenable.sc).
- Experience configuring scans, policies, compliance audits, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, risk evaluation, and remediation workflows.
- Experience working across Windows, Linux, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience within highly regulated industries such as banking, financial services, government, or critical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, or Essential Eight.
- Exposure to cloud security environments and modern enterprise platforms.
