Cafe Achim in Eastwood is looking for an experienced and responsible Cafe Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the cafe.
Location: 58B Balaclava Rd, Eastwood NSW 2122
Position: Cafe Manager
Work Schedule: 5 days per week
Weekend availability is essential
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the cafe
- Manage staff and coordinate weekly rosters
- Maintain a high standard of customer service
- Prepare coffee and other beverages
- Manage stock levels and ordering
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Lead and support the team during busy peak periods
- Help ensure smooth and efficient overall cafe operations
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has solid barista experience and is confident in coffee preparation
- Previous experience as a Cafe Manager or Supervisor is highly regarded
- Has experience in customer service and staff management
- Has good English communication skills and can confidently communicate with local customers
- Is friendly, positive and customer-focused
- Has strong leadership skills and a responsible attitude
- Can stay organised and calm during busy peak periods
- Is reliable and interested in a long-term position
