Role description
Dhelkaya Health is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate Enrolled Nurses to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your nursing career within a supportive, community-focused organisation committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The Graduate Enrolled Nurse (EN) develops and demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice, relevant legislation, and professional codes.
Working within scope of practice, the EN is supervised and supported by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse Educator. As a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the delivery of high standards of care across clinical settings.
You will apply foundation-level, evidence-based knowledge and skills in:
- Patient assessment
- Care planning, implementation and evaluation
- Supporting clients and their significant others
- Delivering safe, effective and person-centred care
Through participation in the graduate program, you will actively build on your clinical skills, confidence, and professional knowledge. Support from preceptors and clinical educators will be provided throughout the program. Study days designed to guide you with skill and knowledge development, along with weekly peer led debriefing form part of this supportive program.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have completed a Diploma of Nursing
- Be registered with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care
- Show strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Be motivated to learn and develop professionally
