As a Ranger, you'll take on a diverse and hands-on role supporting the protection and day-to-day management of national parks, state forests and reserves. Your work will include maintaining and repairing park infrastructure, operating and caring for equipment, and contributing to pest and weed control, fire management and natural resource conservation.
You'll assist in delivering work programs and projects, help manage visitor experiences through patrols, education and compliance activities, and provide helpful, professional advice to the public and stakeholders.
The role also involves responding to emergencies such as wildfires and natural disasters, as well as supporting administrative tasks like record keeping and procurement.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you'll apply practical skills, sound judgement and a strong commitment to safety, inclusion and continuous improvement, making a meaningful contribution to conserving Queensland's natural environments for future generations.
