About the Opportunity
Ace Ventilation is growing and looking for practical, reliable team members to support our commercial kitchen ventilation projects across Sydney.
We’re open to speaking with people suited to:
- Primarily factory-based fabrication work
- Primarily on-site installation work
- Or flexible team members capable of doing both
Because we’re a small team, flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude are highly valued.
The work
Depending on your strengths and interests, your role may involve a mix of the following:
Factory fabrication
- Fabricating and assembling ductwork and ventilation components
- Operating workshop tools and equipment
- Preparing jobs and materials for installation
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Supporting quality control and efficient workflow
On-site installation
- Installing kitchen exhaust hoods, fans and duct systems
- Hanging duct using Unistrut, threaded rod and other supports
- Reading drawings and coordinating installation work
- Problem solving on-site
- Communicating professionally with customers and other trades
Some roles may focus more heavily on fabrication or installation, however all team members may occasionally assist across different areas of the business.

Preferred experience
Experience in one or more of the following is highly regarded:
- HVAC / ventilation
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Mechanical installation
- Welding
- Related trades eg. Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical
- General construction
Ability to read drawings and safely use hand/power tools is highly desirable.
