We are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence, quality service delivery, and positive outcomes for the people we support.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our organisation, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational values.
You will provide leadership to our teams, support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain compliance requirements, and contribute to the strategic growth and success of Flourishing Lives DS.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operational activities across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Oversee service delivery, participant outcomes, incident management, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage and support team leaders and support staff to achieve high performance and engagement.
- Develop and maintain effective workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
- Monitor operational performance, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and organisational growth.
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and person-centred practice.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to support organisational growth, participant acquisition, and expansion of services.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities, referral pathways, and community partnerships that align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Support the onboarding and successful implementation of new participants, programs, and service initiatives.
- Contribute operational expertise to business development activities, ensuring growth opportunities can be delivered effectively, sustainably, and in compliance with NDIS requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role -
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Operations Manager, Service Manager, or equivalent leadership role within a small to medium-sized NDIS provider.
- Demonstrated experience managing NDIS service delivery, compliance, workforce operations, and quality systems.
- Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Commission requirements, and disability sector legislation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Disability Services, Community Services, Social Work, Human Services, Business Management, Health Services Management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, Police Check, and current driver's licence.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting organisational growth and change management.
- Experience preparing for and managing NDIS audits.
- Additional qualifications in leadership, governance, quality management, or business administration.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
