We are a busy and well established Asian restaurant located in Darlinghurst and are looking for experienced and passionate Chefs or Cooks to join our kitchen team. We currently have both Full Time and Casual positions available.
If you have experience working in a fast paced Asian kitchen, especially on the wok section, and enjoy working as part of a professional team, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high quality meals in accordance with restaurant standards
- Work confidently on the wok section and other kitchen stations as required
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation tasks
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and well stocked
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and minimising food waste
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality
- Support other kitchen team members and contribute to a positive work environment
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager
Requirements
- Previous experience working in an Asian restaurant is essential
- Experience on the wok section is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- For Full Time applicants, availability to work a minimum of 5 days per week is required

Pay: $56,890.24 – $86,083.18 per year
