Salary: From $76,515 per year + 12% superannuation, subject to experience
Bracken & Co Stonemasons Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Stonemason to join our team. The successful applicant will work on residential and commercial stonework projects, including preparation, cutting, shaping, laying, installation and repair of stone and masonry structures.
Duties may include:
* Reading plans, drawings and specifications to determine materials, measurements and installation requirements.
* Measuring, marking, cutting, shaping and finishing stone using hand tools and machinery.
* Preparing mortar, bedding courses and work areas for stone installation.
* Laying and aligning stone blocks, slabs and masonry components.
* Installing, repairing and maintaining stonework, walls, paving and related masonry structures.
* Checking levels, alignment and finishes to meet project requirements.
* Following workplace health and safety procedures on site.
Requirements:
* Relevant trade qualification or at least 3 years of relevant stonemasonry experience.
* Experience with stone cutting, shaping, laying and finishing.
* Ability to read plans and work accurately to measurements.
* Own transport and ability to work on-site as required.
* Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
