Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking a Change Lead to join the team!
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of major strategic programs and reform initiatives that contribute to safer communities across Queensland.
As a Change Lead, you will be responsible for planning and delivering change management, communication and stakeholder engagement activities that support the implementation of complex projects and reform initiatives, particularly within the Project Delivery Command. You will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders and leaders to ensure change activities are aligned with project objectives, successfully embedded into business operations and deliver lasting benefits for QCS.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and delivery of change management and communication activities for complex projects and reform programs.
- Partner with project teams, business areas and change champions to support the successful adoption of change.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on change progress, risks and integration activities.
- Support stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives that enhance understanding, commitment and ownership of change.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on innovation, evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
We are looking for a skilled professional with experience delivering change, communications and engagement strategies within large-scale project or program environments. You will bring strong stakeholder management skills, sound knowledge of contemporary change methodologies and the ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively in complex organisational settings. Experience supporting transformation initiatives within government or other large service-delivery organisations will be highly regarded.
