Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Inspector to undertake scheduled and reactive inspections of assets, ensuring their safety, performance, and compliance with organisational standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering inspections within prescribed timeframes, identifying asset defects, and determining appropriate intervention thresholds to support proactive maintenance and risk management.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will bring strong observational skills and a proactive approach to identifying and managing asset risks, along with:

Experience in asset inspection, maintenance, or engineering environments

Ability to identify defects and assess conditions against defined standards or thresholds

Understanding of asset condition assessment frameworks and intervention criteria

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in field-based environments

Demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet timeframes

Proficiency in using inspection tools, systems, or mobile data capture applications

Effective communication and reporting skills
