The opportunity
Full P&L accountability, a direct reporting line to the CEO and a seat on the Executive. Greenfields is a genuinely multi-discipline operation - four service lines, each led by its own department manager, each with its own client base, commercial rhythm and delivery model. Your job is to hold all of that together, support each manager in owning their part of it, and grow the division as a whole.
That means you are not just running Greenfields - you are helping shape the direction of BildGroup. The Executive seat is real, and so is the expectation that you will contribute to it.
The division
BildUrban our subdivision division for residential and commercial estate development, including bulk earthworks, roads and pavement, drainage networks, retaining structures and utility connections.
BildSports our design and construction division focused on sporting surfaces and facilities across AFL, cricket, hockey, athletics and more, spanning natural turf, synthetic and acrylic surfaces for government, associations, schools and clubs.
BildLandscape our open space construction division including parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, wetlands and pump tracks for local government and Tier 1 contractors.
BildSpacial our spatial data and land measurement services including cadastral, topographic and construction surveys for BildGroup’s own divisions and external clients.
What you will own
Strategic direction and P&L performance of the Greenfields division nationally
Each department manager's success - supporting them to own their individual service line P&L and strategy
Consistent, safe delivery across all service lines - the kind of quality that builds long-term client relationships
Pipeline growth through business development, tenders and client relationship management across urban subdivision, sports, landscape and survey
Team development across genuinely different disciplines - adapting your leadership to bring out the best in leaders with very different roles
Active contribution to BildGroup's Executive - strategy, culture and commercial direction beyond your own division
What you bring
You have led a multi-discipline business unit or division before - in civil infrastructure, urban development, sports, landscape, survey or something closely adjacent. You know what it takes to support managers across different operations with different rhythms, and you do it without imposing a single approach across all of them.
Commercially disciplined and client-credible, you are as comfortable in a budget review as you are in a client conversation. You genuinely care about the people in your team - not as a management philosophy, but as something that shows up in how you lead. And you want to contribute to something bigger than your own patch.
Relevant qualifications and industry body membership are advantageous. Hands-on experience across more than one of the Greenfields service lines will strengthen your application considerably.

An executive remuneration package commensurate with the scope of the role, comprising a competitive base salary in line with senior construction executive market rates, superannuation, and performance incentives tied to divisional outcomes.
