We are seeking a compassionate and patient support worker to assist a female NDIS participants.
The participant is wheelchair-bound and requires support with daily living, personal care and general assistance. Due to the personal care needs and participant preference, a female support worker is required.
Roster / Shifts
- Monday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM – Thursday 9:00 AM, including nighttime sleepover
Duties include
- Personal care support
- Assistance with mobility and wheelchair transfers
- Support with daily living activities
- Companionship and community access where required
- Maintaining participant dignity, comfort and safety
- Following care plans and reporting any concerns
Requirements
- Female support worker required
- Fluent English communication skills
- Experience in disability support, aged care or nursing preferred
- Nursing background highly regarded
- Reliable, caring and respectful attitude
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR preferred
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
