McMahon Services is seeking an organised and customer-focused Onboarding Coordinator to join our Payroll team.
This role is responsible for coordinating pre-employment onboarding activities, issuing employment documentation, supporting hiring managers and ensuring new employees experience a smooth and professional onboarding journey.
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across the business, you will play a critical role in supporting employee commencement processes while maintaining compliance and data accuracy.

About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will manage onboarding activities from offer through to commencement, ensuring all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
You will coordinate employment documentation, onboarding progress tracking, employee referrals, employment screening and a range of administrative activities supporting both employees and hiring managers.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate onboarding activities and employment documentation for new employees
- Issue Letters of Offer and other employment-related correspondence
- Monitor onboarding progress and provide updates to hiring managers
- Coordinate employment screening, police checks and right-to-work verification processes
- Maintain employee records and onboarding documentation
- Set up new employees on Payroll Systems Support reporting requirements
- Provide administrative support to the Payroll Manager and broader Payroll team
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in administration, onboarding, recruitment support or payroll administration
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
