SKILL, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
ESSENTIAL
- A CPA/CA recognised degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Commerce or
Business with an Accounting Major.
- Extensive experience developing, constructing, and managing financial models —
including budgeting, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, trend
databases and analytical frameworks — to support strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial models and trend analyses into
clear, actionable insights that inform long-term financial planning and executive
decision-making.
- Highly developed analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, modelling and financial software packages.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, positively and productively — both in cross-
functional teams and in an environment of ongoing continuous improvement and
change.
