Position Overview
We are looking for a Kitchen Hand / Cook to join the team at Meraki Modern Greek. You will prepare fresh ingredients, cook on the line, wrap our signature souvas, and manage daily food stock. We have roles available for both Full-Time and Part-Time/Casual staff with solid food knowledge and ordering experience.Key Responsibilities
- Cooking & Assembly:Cook meats to order and cleanly wrap our signature souvlakis.
- Prep Work: Handle daily ingredient preparation and make traditional sauces.
- Ordering & Stock: Monitor daily ingredient levels, manage stock rotation, and place supplier orders.
- Kitchen Safety: Maintain strict food hygiene, cleaning, and temperature control standards.
Requirements & Experience
- Experience: Proven experience working as a kitchen hand or cook.
- Skills: Strong basic food knowledge, kitchen prep skills, and experience placing supplier orders.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including nights and peak weekend trade.
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
