About Us:
Blue Eagle Rural is a family-run business that owns and operates four leading Broiler Farms in Southeast Queensland. We pride ourselves on excellent bird welfare, efficient production, and well-maintained equipment.
The Facility:
Located in Gleneagle, this farm contains six tunnel ventilated sheds holding 240,000 birds (Ingham’s) and is operated via a Rotem Platinum control system.
Role and Responsibilities
Full-time role for an experienced broiler farm worker. This role reports directly to the Broiler Farm Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Walk sheds to identify and remove unthrifty birds
- Walk sheds to adjust lines and undertake basic maintenance
- Operate farm equipment
- Heavy Rigid licence is favourable
- Overnight farm monitoring every second weekend.
- Undertake work across multiple farms as necessary
This is a full-time position. Accommodation available to the right applicant (airconditioned 3-bedroom house).
