What you will do
As senior project and policy officer, you will support major infrastructure and asset planning work across the department.
You will help deliver projects, policy advice and governance activities that support better public outcomes.
You will:
-
develop strategic infrastructure and asset planning initiatives
-
provide authoritative advice on infrastructure policies, strategies and planning matters
-
support effective project governance and continuous improvement activities
-
prepare high-quality reports, briefings, correspondence and presentations
-
work across project lifecycles to deliver infrastructure planning and project outcomes.
About you
A relevant qualification in policy, economics, business or a related field is desirable. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
You should also have:
-
strong analytical and research skills
-
proven experience developing project business cases
-
sound project management and process improvement skills
-
excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
