What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse within the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, you will provide high quality, evidence based care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
- Deliver safe, effective and person centred nursing care to patients and their families
- Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a specialised cardiac environment
- Coordinate discharge planning and facilitate referrals to support continuity of care
- Supervise, mentor and support staff and students to promote professional growth
- Advocate for patients while ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to professional standards

Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means,; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
