Who are Racing Queensland?
Racing Queensland (RQ) is a statutory body whose primary purpose is to promote, enhance and provide a platform to service the industry across three codes of racing: thoroughbred, greyhound, and harness. RQ’s mission is to champion great racing and events which connect Queensland communities.
Racing Queensland is looking for a Racing Operations Administrator to join our Racing team on permanent basis with flexible work options. If you have strong attention to detail, enjoy the thrill of seeing race meetings coming together and want to take on this new role, please get in touch.
What you’ll do, day to day
- Administering the accurate and timely preparation of the thoroughbred race and trial meetings
- Distributing all thoroughbred race trial fields to stakeholder groups and updating race fields information
- Coordinating the barrier trial schedule and uploading thoroughbred racing programs
- Providing participants with regular and timely communications via text messages
- Investigating, following up and arranging manual financial adjustments
