About the role
The Sales & Warehouse Support role is a Full-time position, based at Underwood, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Assist customers with product selection and orders
- Process sales, invoices and payments
- Build strong relationships with trade customers
- Coordinate customer collections and deliveries
- Assist with stock control and warehouse activities
- Operate a forklift and undertake loading/unloading duties
- Maintain a safe and organised workplace
Working Hours
Enjoy an early finish each day, giving you more time for family, hobbies, or personal commitments in the afternoon. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with rostered hours of 6:00am to 2:00pm, plus the option of one additional hour of overtime each day.
Any hours worked beyond the standard 38-hour week are paid at applicable overtime rates, providing opportunities for additional earnings when business needs arise. There may also be occasional opportunities to work Saturdays.
What we're looking for
- Strong customer service experience
- Experience in retail, trade supplies, hardware, automotive parts or similar industries
- Good communication and computer skills
- Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks when required
