We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team in Frankston, Victoria. This role involves supporting NDIS participants to achieve their goals, enhance their independence, and actively engage in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.
- Support participants to attend appointments, community activities, and social engagements.
- Implement individual support plans and promote participant choice and independence.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation.
- Build positive and professional relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full Australian working rights.
Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Community Services, or a related field.
- Experience working with people living with disabilities, mental health challenges, or complex support needs.
- Medication administration training.
- Manual handling experience.
