The successful applicant will join the Integrated and Community Health Education Team and work in close partnership with the inTouch Service to assist with identifying, developing, and delivering education and professional development initiatives that meet the service's learning and workforce development needs.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will lead, coordinate and evaluate clinical education programs that support nursing staff to achieve and maintain clinical excellence within the inTouch service. You will provide education, orientation, preceptorship and competency assessment, ensuring staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver safe, evidence-based care in a virtual and community health environment.
Working closely with operational leaders, clinicians and education teams, you will identify learning needs, support professional development and contribute to service improvements that enhance patient, carer and workforce outcomes.
- Deliver, coordinate and evaluate clinical education, orientation and competency programs
- Support staff development through mentoring, preceptorship and clinical coaching
- Partner with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to identify and address learning needs
- Monitor competency achievement and maintain education records through My Health Learning and related systems
- Drive continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and workforce capability development

Essential Criteria:
- License: Current Nsw Driver's License
- Registration: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
1. Relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD
2. Demonstrated recent experience in clinical teaching, delivery and evaluation of education programs and provision of support & guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified workforce
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture.
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to the ongoing enhancement of clinical practice within a client/patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
5. Demonstrated effective and high-level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting
6. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
7. Relevant computer skills including use of software programs to develop and deliver education and enter data.
