Job description:
Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club is looking for friendly, energetic and reliable Event & Function Attendants to join our casual hospitality team.
You’ll help us deliver great experiences across functions, celebrations and special events hosted at Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, as well as selected off-site events where we provide contracted food, beverage and function services, including events held at the Forster Tuncurry Jockey Club.
This is an event-based casual role, meaning hours will vary depending on our function and event calendar. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible work, additional income or a way to gain more hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests at functions and events.
- Assist with food, beverage and general function service.
- Assist with event set-up, service and pack-down.
- Help prepare function spaces and ensure they are presented to a high standard.
- Maintain clean, tidy and welcoming service and guest areas.
- Process POS and cash transactions accurately when required.
- Work closely with the team to ensure events run smoothly and guests have a great experience.
- Follow RSA and responsible service requirements where applicable.
- Adhere to Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and promptly report hazards or safety concerns.
- Be flexible and willing to assist across different areas depending on the needs of each event.
About You:
- A positive, approachable and welcoming personality.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual when rostered for an event.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous hospitality, food service, bar, function or event experience is desirable but not essential.
- Current NSW RSA required if undertaking alcohol service.
- Flexible availability across events, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Pay: $34.85 – $48.78 per hour

- Tuncurry NSW 2428: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
