Apprentice Cabinet Maker (2nd or 3rd Year)
If you’re a motivated apprentice cabinet maker who takes pride in building high‑quality, functional spaces, we’d love to have you on our team. We’re a busy, well‑established company delivering a mix of residential and commercial cabinetry, and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow their skills, contribute meaningfully, and build a career they’re proud of.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your days will be varied, hands‑on, and genuinely skill‑building. You’ll:
- Work on custom cabinetry — fabricating premium joinery components and architectural builds
- Read and interpret plans — including technical drawings and cutting lists
- Operate workshop machinery — panel saws, edge banders, and other tools with care and confidence
- Assist with installations — learning fit‑off, finishing, and on‑site problem solving
- Assemble joinery — from flat‑pack components to detailed architectural pieces
- Maintain quality standards — ensuring every finish meets our premium expectations
- Contribute to a safe, tidy workshop
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of qualified tradespeople
You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities—not just sweeping floors—and encouraged to keep developing your craft every day.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in the trade and wants to keep improving. You’ll need:
- 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship, or equivalent joinery experience
- Manual licence, reliable car, and White Card
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
- Reliability — showing up, giving your best, and caring about the work
- Genuine passion for timber, cabinetry, and modern joinery
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and building things properly, you’ll fit right in.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Supportive, down‑to‑earth team culture
- High‑quality training on custom architectural projects
- Opportunities to learn from experienced tradespeople
- A variety of residential and commercial projects
- A workplace where your effort is noticed and appreciated
- Long‑term progression in a growing local business
We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job—someone who wants a future in the trade.
If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to chat.
