The Storeperson role is varied and interesting. A day of work is rarely the same as the next, and there is the opportunity to operate a number of machines to produce satisfying results.
Our team is focused on customer service, creating a positive and friendly working environment. Lunch is provided one day each week.
There is the potential for this role to move partially into cash sales or into fabrication depending on interest, needs, and capability.
The Storeperson must be able to interpret the orders and picking slips generated and make informed decisions of how to proceed.
As there is fabrication offered to customers, the Storeperson must be capable of using a variety of machines such as a drill press, punch and shear, and band saws.
At times, the Storeperson will be required to complete deliveries and collect stock items.
Forklift and car licenses are essential and required. Knowledge of steel and fencing products would be beneficial but is not necessary.
