Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An exciting opportunity to join the Hawkesbury Nursing team on Maria Lock which is our medical ward that incorporates Telemetry and Palliative Care. Full time and part-time assignments are on offer on a seven day rotating roster.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care. The successful incumbent will utilise effective team communication in the planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of patient care. You will act as an advocate for the specific needs of all patients/clients and carers including those from the indigenous population or other multi-cultural groups providing appropriate care to the patient/client undergoing specialised procedures.
