Are you a passionate individual committed to supporting First Nations students on their educational journey? Do you bring energy, empathy, and a strong sense of community to your work? If so, we invite you to join the team at SuniTAFE Mildura Campus as a Koorie Student Support Officer on a casual basis, where your dedication to student wellbeing and success will make a lasting impact.

In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for First Nations students at Dulka Yuppata’s Mildura Campus, providing strength-based wellbeing and transitional support tailored to their individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Act as a daily point of contact for students, teachers and staff regarding Koorie and youth attendance.
Liaise with stakeholders to provide agenda and meeting notes
Attend internal & external meetings in the capacity of minute taker.
Respond to all general email and phone enquiries in a professional timely manner.
Provide assistance with preparing classroom for learning activities.
Provide general support in relation to Dulka Yuppata events of significance eg NAIDOC.

The successful candidate will be required to provide:

A successful criminal record check which is less than 6 months old.
A current working with children check.

This position is open to Australian residents only or those with current working rights in Australia.
