Sales Assistant – Flooring Store (Full-Time)
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Assistant to join our established flooring store. This is a full-time, permanent position working as part of a friendly, small team.
About the Role
As a Sales Assistant, you will work with customers to help them choose the right flooring solutions for their homes and businesses. We supply a wide range of flooring products, so a basic knowledge of flooring is essential. Ongoing training will be provided to help you expand your product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with flooring product selection and enquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service in-store and over the phone.
- Prepare quotes and process sales.
- Maintain product displays and keep the showroom well presented.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
About You
- Basic knowledge of flooring products is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Available to work the occasional Saturday as required.
