Perth Waldorf School Invites applications for an
Early Childhood
1 x Special Needs Assistant (0.5FTE)
and
1 x General Assistant (from 0.2 FTE – Full-Time)
to start Term 1 2027
We invite applications for the position of 1 x Special Needs Assistant (0.5 FTE) and 1 x General Assistant (from 0.2 FTE to Full-time) in the Kindergarten. This position requires a person with a high level of social-emotional intelligence, and the following attributes:
- Certificate IV in Education Support (Special Needs Assistant) or equivalent. Certificate III in Early Childhood (or similar) (General Assistant)
- Expertise, experience and training appropriate to the needs of the children requiring support.
- Ability to work with subtlety maintaining each child’s feeling of security in the classroom.
- Ability to support the authority of the Early Childhood Teacher and/or the Kindergarten Assistant in the classroom.
- Working knowledge of Steiner childhood development.
- Working with Children Check.
- The right to work in Australia (no sponsorship)
