MHL Scaffolding is looking for an experienced and reliable Heavy Rigid Truck Driver to join our team based in Tullamarine.
We are a well-established, family-owned scaffolding company working across commercial construction projects throughout Melbourne. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, looks after their truck and equipment, and can become a reliable part of our day-to-day operations.
This isn't a long-haul driving role. You'll generally start and finish from our Tullamarine yard, delivering and collecting scaffolding equipment to construction sites across metropolitan Melbourne.
The role will include:
- Driving HR trucks to and from construction sites across Melbourne
- Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment
- Operating a vehicle-mounted crane where licensed
- Securing loads correctly and safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks and basic paperwork
- Coordinating with our operations team, scaffold crews and site personnel
- Keeping the truck, crane and work areas clean and well maintained
- Assisting around the yard when required
To be considered, you'll need:
- Current HR licence or higher
- Good driving record
- Experience driving heavy vehicles in metropolitan Melbourne
- Confidence entering and manoeuvring around construction sites
- Good understanding of load restraint and safe transport practices
- Reliable transport to our Tullamarine yard
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly regarded:
- CV / Vehicle Loading Crane licence
- Forklift licence
- Construction White Card
- Experience with crane trucks / HIAB-type equipment
- Road Ranger / non-synchro experience
- Previous scaffolding, construction or building-material delivery experience

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
