We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join our team based at Inkerman Sugar Mill. Applicants from a variety of backgrounds including electrical, instrumentation and systems engineering are encouraged to apply.

Primary responsibilities:
- Provide a maintenance service to other Mill departments that involves the completion of planned and unplanned maintenance and capital projects safely, on time and to the required standard.
- Install, repair, maintain, and test equipment within training level.
- Installation, calibration and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic and microprocessor based process control systems hardware, including controllers, transmitters and final control devices, signal processing, power conditioning and field input/output interface equipment.
- Maintenance of digital and analog process control system programs using appropriate software packages.
- Fault finding of complex process control systems involving some combination of pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor based and/or mechanical subsystems.
- Basic repair, calibration and maintenance of laboratory and miscellaneous analytical instrumentation
The successful applicant will:
- Be a qualified tradesperson with industrial experience
- Hold a current QLD Electrical work licence
- Have experience in trouble shooting/problem solving and fault finding
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Be motivated, hardworking, reliable and flexible
As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and drug and alcohol testing.
