We are just getting started on the Gold Coast, and this is our first local role.
You will keep our fleet of Gold Coast vans clean, presentable and in the right place, ready for members to use. You will work across the local network on your own, picking up jobs from an app and organising your own run, with support and training from our Brisbane based team.
This is a casual role of around 10 hours per week, and hours will fluctuate. Most work falls on weekdays, usually Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Every now and then we may need some evening or weekend work, so we’re looking for someone with the flexibility to cover this.
The Gold Coast fleet is set to grow substantially over the next year, and the hours will grow with it. There is also real scope to train into fleet operations work such as battery and tyre changes and basic vehicle maintenance as the network builds out. If you want to get in at the start of something and grow with it, this is the job for you.
- Clean and detail our vans inside and out
- Maintain a high standard of presentation, including correct livery and in-car collateral present and up to date
- Move and relocate vans between locations across the Gold Coast, including collecting vans that members have left in the wrong spot
- Take photos of cleanliness and any damage
- Report damage and anything that needs a mechanic
- Keep vans stocked with smartcards and consumables
- Work from an online dispatch system on a GoGet tablet, and manage your own run efficiently
- Keep safety front of mind and follow all Safe Work instructions and GoGet policies
- Current Australian driver's licence and good driving history
- Confident driving a van, including parking and manoeuvring in tight spots
- Based on the Gold Coast
- Your own transport to get to the first vehicle each day
- Available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, with some flexibility for the occasional evening or weekend job
- Comfortable working on your own with minimal supervision and organising your own day
- Solid attention to detail and pride in how a vehicle looks when you are finished with it
- Comfortable with technology and using an app on a tablet
- Physically able to work outdoors in all weather, including regular bending and lifting
This role suits someone already working in detailing, vehicle rental, a service centre or a trade who wants regular extra hours, or anyone after reliable ongoing work that fits around other commitments.
- Above Award casual rate, with penalty rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Genuine autonomy, you run your own day
- First GoGet crew member on the Gold Coast. Opportunity for more hours as the fleet grows, and training into battery and tyre work down the track.
