The Great Southern Hotel Sydney is a busy heritage-listed hotel offering 176 rooms. Walking distance of the CBD, Central Station and Chinatown. Currently seeking a Casual position of Front Office Supervisor. You will be involved in all matters affecting guest service and hotel operations by supervising and supporting the reception team.
About you:
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in a recent Front Office Supervisor role in a hotel with a minimum of 100 rooms
- Previous experience using Opera or Opera Cloud PMS
- Availability to work 2 - 3 days per week
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Preferable commute up to 30 minutes
- Demonstrated loyalty and commitment to previous employers

- Being reliable, punctual, and professionally presented to provide strong customer service
- Work effectively under pressure while being task and people-oriented
- Address guest requests and resolve complaints empathetically and efficiently
- Supervise and train up new staff, while organising weekly Front Office roster schedules
- Ensure smooth hotel operations by remaining organised
