Key Responsibilities:
- Site & Project Leadership: Supervise daily on-site operations, manage project timelines, and ensure work complies with state building regulations and high quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a small landscaping crew and coordinate on-site subcontractors.
- Client & Office Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients and keep accurate daily logs of project progress for management.
- Hands-on Execution: Drive all aspects of construction - including paving, timber works, concreting, softscapes, drainage, and irrigation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate in Landscape Construction
- Trade Experience: Proven track record in hardscape and softscape construction, with the ability to read and interpret detailed landscape plans.
- Leadership Mindset: Previous experience coordinating small crews, site tasks, or trades.
- Tickets & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License, White Card and WWC.
- Machine Operation: Excavator, Bobcat, or heavy machinery tickets are highly desirable.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, clear communication skills, and an authentic commitment to site safety and client satisfaction.
