South Coast Baptist College (SCBC) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Student Services team.
In this rewarding role, you will provide professional nursing care, first aid, and health support to students, staff, and visitors while promoting a safe and supportive learning environment. Working closely with families, College staff, and external healthcare providers, you'll help ensure students receive the care they need to thrive.

About the role
Working as part of the Student Services team, you will:
- Assess and manage student illness and injury.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care.
- Administer medications and maintain healthcare plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
- Work collaboratively with families, staff, and healthcare providers to support student wellbeing.
- Promote a safe and healthy College environment.
This is a 0.6 FTE contract position (three days per week) for the remainder of the 2026 academic year.

About you
You are a compassionate and organised Registered Nurse who enjoys working with children and young people in a collaborative school environment.
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities.
- A commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.
- A desire to support the Christian mission and values of the College.
Essential requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualifications.
- Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
- National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
- Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Active participation in a church or Christian community.
- Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith.
- Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment.
Desirable
- Previous nursing experience in a school, paediatric, or community health setting.
- Experience using school management or electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent health within an educational environment.
