The Role: We are seeking a warm, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. Your primary focus will be conducting comprehensive preventative health assessments (including 75+ Health Assessments and 45–49-year-old checks).
You will work closely with our General Practitioners, gathering vital clinical, social, and functional data to prepare assessment drafts before providing concise handovers to the treating doctor.
Key Responsibilities: * Conducting structured patient interviews covering medical history, medications, mobility, ADLs, and social supports.
- Performing clinical observations (BP, Pulse, Weight, Vision, Urinalysis, basic cognitive screens).
- Identifying health risks and drafting actionable clinical recommendations (e.g., Physio referrals, Home Medicines Reviews, Vaccinations).
- Accurately documenting all findings within Best Practice (Bp Premier) clinical software.
- Providing efficient, 30-second verbal handovers to the GP prior to their physical examination and sign-off.
- Ensuring all documentation is strictly compliant with Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) guidelines.

- Licence/Certification: Current, active registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with AHPRA (Essential).
- Experience: Previous experience in aged care, geriatric assessments, or primary care is highly regarded.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with Best Practice (Bp Premier) clinical software is a major bonus, though full training will be provided.
- Attributes: A warm bedside manner, excellent communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
