The 1st Line Risk Control Analyst - Testing will support the Claims & Assessing leadership team to deliver the A&G’s risk management strategy.
The role will perform control testing to assess the design and effectiveness of the risk control environment.
Additionally, the role will also monitor agreed actions to continually strengthen the control environment and complete PIRs on the testing program for continual improvement of the control testing practice.
What you’ll be doing

Undertake end-to-end reviews of control systems to identify non-compliance, leakage points, and provide recommendations for rectification.

Deliver report and analysis artefacts.

Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment.

Partner with our Quality Assurance Function and the change delivery teams to map, test, and improve our control environment.

Act as an internal subject matter expert in providing risk and compliance advice, expertise, and education.

Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously to manage competing priorities.
What experience you’ll bring
-
2+ years of experience working within a similar position.
-
2+ years within the financial services industry, preferably insurance.
-
Well-developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations to operate in the FSR environment.

Ability to build and sustain effective relationships both internally and externally.

Strong negotiation and influencing ability.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.
