The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking a Parliamentary Service Level 6 Manager Training Delivery within the Security Operations Branch. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of high-quality, operationally aligned training programs across the Parliamentary Security Service (PSS). Your work will support operational readiness, strengthen workforce capability and ensure training delivery meets current and emerging operational requirements.
You will lead a team of skilled trainers by providing clear direction, coaching and support to maintain consistent and professional delivery standards. This includes managing performance, building capability within the team and contributing to a positive, accountable and values-based team culture. The role requires proactive leadership, sound judgement and the ability to respond effectively to operational needs.
This leadership role has a strong operational focus and is suited to someone who can work under limited direction, exercise sound judgement and take a practical, solutions-focused approach to learning delivery and workforce development. Working closely with operational leaders, internal and external stakeholders and the Training Development team, you will ensure training delivery aligns with organisational goals, operational priorities and adult learning principles. You will also support continuous improvement by reviewing feedback, adapting delivery strategies and contributing to the ongoing development of PSS staff.
Success in this role requires a positive approach to change, the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and strong organisational and time management skills. You will be expected to manage competing priorities, meet operational deadlines and confidently represent the training function at a strategic and operational level.
