Drawable Pty Ltd is an Australian-based company providing drafting and documentation services for civil engineering projects. We are currently seeking a qualified Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our Sydney team.
Position Summary
The Civil Engineering Draftsperson will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and documentation to support civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards and project specifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD and related software
- Translate engineering concepts and specifications into accurate technical drawings
- Assist engineers and project teams with documentation and drafting support
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and design updates
- Ensure all drawings comply with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant qualification (Diploma or higher) in Civil Engineering Drafting or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Civil Engineering Draftsperson
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Civil 3D or similar software desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and within a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
