An Audit Senior leads and performs audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring financial statements comply with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves supervising junior auditors, identifying financial risks, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations to improve financial reporting and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and perform external audit engagements.
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Assess internal controls and identify financial and operational risks.
- Prepare audit working papers and detailed audit reports.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior audit staff.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality audit services.
- Assist audit managers and partners with complex audit assignments and business advisory projects.
Pay: From $7,000.00 per month
