We’re looking for a Social Manager to join our Sydney team, working exclusively on a leading FMCG and consumer health client patch that includes some of Australia’s most trusted brands.
The Social Manager is responsible for driving best-in-class paid social strategy, activation, innovation and capability across the client's business. This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of social campaigns, ensuring client investment delivers against business objectives while building strong client and partner relationships. The Social Manager will work closely with the Digital Activation Director to drive social product development, thought leadership, testing frameworks and commercial growth opportunities.
Purpose of the Role
The Social Manager exists to elevate the strategic impact and commercial performance of social media across the client. They will serve as the social subject matter expert, ensuring clients receive innovative, effective and measurable social solutions while developing the social capability of the wider team.
Key Outputs
Execution:

Lead responses to client briefs and develop social media recommendations that deliver strong business outcomes.

Own the planning, activation and optimisation of paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit and emerging social platforms.

Ensure campaigns are implemented accurately, efficiently and in line with best practice.

Define campaign KPIs, measurement frameworks and learning agendas.

Translate campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Design and implement test-and-learn frameworks to improve performance and effectiveness.

Drive innovation through new platform features, creator opportunities and social products.
Team & Communication:

Manage and develop Social Executives and Specialists through coaching, training and development planning.

Be accountable for quality, workflow and delivery standards across social campaigns.

Build strong relationships with agency partners, media teams, creative teams and client stakeholders.

Provide proactive communication and timely escalation of any risks or opportunities.
Client:

Act as a trusted advisor to clients on social strategy, platform developments and industry trends.

Lead business reviews, education sessions, campaign presentations and strategic recommendations.

Provide timely and professional client communication and build long-term relationships.

Identify opportunities to grow social investment, effectiveness and innovation.
Technical:

Deep understanding of paid social platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Reddit.

Strong understanding of social measurement, attribution, audience strategies and platform optimisation.

Excellent reporting and analytical skills with ability to connect social performance to business outcomes.

Maintain platform certifications and remain up to date on industry developments and beta opportunities.
