About the Role
As our Stakeholder & Engagement Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across government, NGOs, corporate partners, and community organisations.
This role sits within our newly created Communications, Marketing, Stakeholder, and Advancement team. This role will help expand our network, create meaningful connections, and support strategic opportunities that amplify our impact across the Northern Territory.
What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple sectors

Identify and create partnership opportunities that support organisational growth

Coordinate high-level networking and engagement opportunities for executive leadership

Plan and deliver stakeholder events, forums, and functions
-
Maintain stakeholder databases and track engagement activities
-
Represent MHAC at key events across Darwin and the NT
-
Ensure all engagement is culturally respectful and community-informed
What You Bring

Relevant tertiary qualifications (Business, Communications, Marketing, or similar)

A natural ability to connect, influence, and build trust
-
Strong networks across Darwin and/or the NT
-
Confidence engaging with senior leaders and executives
-
Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, or business development

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

A commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities

Understanding of government, NGO, or community sectors
-
Commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and cultural awareness
