This Sydney-based leadership role oversees the kitchen operations of group of restaurants, working closely with venue leadership teams to ensure exceptional standards, consistency and performance across the portfolio.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you'll provide strategic culinary leadership across multiple venues, supporting Head Chefs and kitchen teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong teams, develop people, optimise performance and maintain the highest standards of quality, culture and execution across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to Head Chefs and senior kitchen teams
- Drive consistency, quality and operational excellence across all venues
- Lead recruitment, succession planning and talent development initiatives
- Ensure labour, food cost and productivity targets are achieved while maintaining exceptional standards
- Oversee menu implementation, seasonal updates and product quality across the group
- Champion food safety, compliance and kitchen best practices
- Partner closely with Operations and Venue Leaders to deliver commercial and guest experience objectives
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement as the business expands
- Contribute to the successful opening and integration of future venues
About You
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Group Executive Chef or multi-site culinary leader
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing performance across multiple venues
- Exceptional leadership skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams
- Highly organised with the ability to balance strategic priorities and day-to-day execution
- Deep understanding of modern restaurant operations and premium casual dining environments
- Calm, collaborative and solutions-focused leadership style
- Passionate about creating strong kitchen cultures and delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences
