About Elevare Education
Elevare Education is a youth-led education initiative supporting migrant and newly arrived students and families as they transition into the Australian education system through academic mentorship, wellbeing support and transition guidance.
We have supported 1,000+ students and families, reached 30,000+ people online, and our work has been recognised through the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards, WA Innovators of the Year, Parliament of Western Australia, and nominations for Young Australian of the Year.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and motivated person to join our Social Media & Content Team and help grow Elevare's online presence.
Your role will include:
- Creating Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn content
- Designing professional posts and carousels using Canva
- Creating and editing short-form videos
- Writing captions and promotional copy
- Creating educational content for students and parents
- Developing parent-focused advertisements
- Promoting Elevare's programs, events and enrolments
- Contributing ideas to our content calendar and social media strategy
We're looking for someone who can bring their own ideas and creativity to the role rather than simply waiting for assigned tasks.
Who We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Are creative and have a strong eye for design
- Understand social media and digital content
- Have experience with Canva and/or video editing
- Have strong written communication skills
- Are reliable and able to work independently
- Are comfortable receiving feedback
- Have an interest in education, marketing or social impact
Previous professional experience is not essential — creativity, initiative and willingness to learn are most important.
