About this opportunity
The Product Manager ANZ – iTero™ Scanners is accountable for the leadership, performance, and growth of the iTero scanner portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. This role owns portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and go to market excellence for capital equipment and digital technology solutions—driving adoption, utilisation, and long term value creation.
A key focus is to expand iTero’s market share by strengthening brand positioning and elevating the scanner’s role as a comprehensive digital scanning solution for GP Dentists and Orthodontists.
This role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, digital services, and clinical workflows, partnering closely with GP & Ortho Channel Leaders, Legal, Commercial, Global Product, Clinical Education, and APAC teams.
In this role, you will manage the following:
Product & Portfolio Management
- Execute the ANZ product strategy for the iTero scanner portfolio in alignment with global direction.
- Lead the repositioning of iTero from an Invisalign only scanner to a comprehensive digital scanning platform.
- Manage assigned aspects of the product lifecycle, including launches, upgrades, and end of life activities, in collaboration with Clinical, Commercial, and APAC teams.
- Consult with GP, Ortho, and Lab channel leaders on hardware and software updates.
- Support portfolio positioning, pricing strategy, and offer structures for each channel segment.
- Ensure product solutions align with customer needs, practice economics, and commercial objectives.
Launch & Go-to-Market Execution
- Elevate iTero’s presence in launches and events by showcasing the combined power of Invisalign and iTero.
- Lead local execution of scanner launches, software updates, and feature enhancements.
- Drive comprehensive project management across development, localisation, and commercialisation.
- Develop and execute go to market plans including segmentation, targeting, and messaging.
- Partner with Channel Leaders and Sales to deliver effective field tools, training, and customer-facing materials.
- Monitor launch performance and support optimisation initiatives to accelerate adoption.
Customer & Market Insight
- Act as the voice of the customer across orthodontists, general dentists, DSOs, and labs.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, market data, and competitive insights.
- Identify trends and barriers to digital adoption across the ANZ dental market.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner with GP, Ortho, and Lab leaders to drive execution through all channels.
- Collaborate with Global & Regional Product Management to ensure ANZ plans align with global priorities.
- Work closely with Clinical Education, Marketing Communications, Digital, and Customer Support teams.
- Partner with Sales to ensure customer needs are addressed and challenges resolved.
- Support cross-functional initiatives in a matrix environment.
Business Planning, Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Set annual goals in partnership with GP & Ortho leadership and Commercial.
- Track KPIs related to scanner sales, utilisation, and customer engagement.
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and contributions to ANZ operating plans.
- Leverage data and insights to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvement.
Communication
- Deliver iTero marketing communications including product collateral, launch materials, localisation, translation, and compliance reviews.
- Manage trade communications, digital advertising, and eDM campaigns.
Budget Management
- Manage the ANZ iTero marketing budget in partnership with the ANZ Marketing team.
In this role, you’ll need …
This is a hands on role requiring someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast growing, and cross functional environment. You must be able to work across all organisational levels and manage multiple priorities with agility. An appreciation for diverse cultures and global ways of working is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred
- 6–8 years of experience in Product Management, Brand Management, or Commercial Marketing
- Proven B2B marketing strategy and execution experience
- Outstanding project management skills
- Experience in medical devices, dental, healthcare technology, or capital equipment (preferred)
- Exposure to product launches and lifecycle management in regulated industries
- Experience collaborating with sales teams in field driven organisations
- Strong business partnering and cross functional communication skills
- Culturally aware, flexible, and effective in a matrix organisation
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to build customer relationships
- Ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Up to 10% travel may be required
