What you'll be doing in this role
As a valued member of our team, you'll provide compassionate care and support to residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
You will:
- Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
- Assist residents during mealtimes and with activities of daily living.
- Support medication assistance and simple wound care where required.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and provide emotional support and companionship.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Promote best practice documentation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting best practice, sharing knowledge and helping maintain consistently high standards of care.

Who we’re looking for
You're an experienced aged care professional who communicates with confidence, builds rapport easily and enjoys working collaboratively with others. You lead through example, support your colleagues and are passionate about delivering high-quality care that makes a genuine difference in residents' lives.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working in residential aged care, with a strong understanding of person-centred care practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
- Confident collaborating across teams and supporting positive outcomes through professional communication and a solutions-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Well-organised and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to share ideas, support best practice and contribute positively to team outcomes.
- Adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, living Uniting's values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative and bold.
