Join AAT Kings as a Driver Guide and bring our premier coach tours to life for guests visiting Sydney and beyond. This is a casual role, ideal if you love driving, storytelling and making sure every guest has a safe, memorable experience on the road.
What you'll be doing
- Driving the tour coach safely and responsibly, in full compliance with traffic laws
- Delivering engaging, accurate and up-to-date commentary throughout the tour
- Briefing guests on the vehicle, its safety features and the day's itinerary, including any changes
- Assisting guests to board and alight the coach, and accompanying them on walks where required
- Keeping the coach interior, exterior and onboard washroom clean and presentable
- Checking, loading and unloading luggage at accommodation stops
- Reporting any mechanical, vehicle, client or itinerary issues to the depot immediately
- Completing accurate paperwork, including mileage cards, expense sheets and mechanical reports
- Managing tour accounts and keeping accurate records of on-tour expenditure
- Knowing AAT Kings product inside and out, and confidently upselling where relevant
- Liaising professionally with external suppliers and accommodation venues
- Stepping in as a Tour Driver on escorted tours as needed
What you'll bring
- HR Driver's Licence
- Passenger Authority
- Current First Aid Certificate
- HR driving experience – advantageous
- Tourism or guiding experience – advantageous
- Comfortable using MS systems
- A genuine passion for guest service, with the ability to stay calm and solve problems under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and reliable record-keeping
- A team player who can also work unsupervised
- Flexibility to work variable days, including weekends, as tours require
