Administrative & Customer Support Assistant
(Natural Medicine Healthcare Industry)
We are a well-established Australian company specialising in nutritional and natural healthcare products and services, and we are looking for a reliable, organised and service-oriented team member to join our office team.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a small team environment and is comfortable managing a combination of customer service, administration, order processing and general business support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Processing customer orders and preparing invoices
- General office administration and data entry
- Assisting with order management and invoicing processes
- Answering incoming phone enquiries and providing customer support
- Supporting event and seminar coordination
- Providing general administrative support across the business as required
Essential Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Accurate and efficient typing skills (50+ WPM preferred)
- Confidence using Google Workspace including Docs, Sheets, Gmail and Drive
- Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required
- Professional phone manner and strong customer service skills
Highly Regarded Experience
The following experience would be advantageous, but not essential:
- Previous experience in customer service, office administration or data entry
- Experience with invoicing or accounting software such as MYOB
- Experience working within a small business environment
- Exposure to sales support and general administration
- Interest in health, wellness, nutrition or natural healthcare industries
