Key responsibilities (text) Working at IKEA has its benefits and rewards:
- $28.31 per hour base rate (Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm)
- $42.47 per hour Sunday rate (9:00am to 11:00pm), plus above-award pay and applicable penalty rates, including weekends and public holidays

Additional Information
- Permanent Part-Time opportunities available at 40, 50, or 60 hours per fortnight
- Rotating roster between 8:30am and 9:00pm on weekdays and weekends
- Availability to work 3 out of every 4 weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday
Recruitment Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a pre-recorded video interview
- Selected candidates will then attend a group interview on Thursday, 10 September
- Successful applicants will commence employment with IKEA on Monday, 21 September
- November to January is one of IKEA's busiest trading periods. To support our customers during this time, we prefer co-workers not to plan holidays during these months and to maintain availability throughout the peak period.

Team vision (text) As a Sales Co-worker, you’ll help create an inspiring and seamless shopping experience for our customers. Working across Showroom, Markethall and Self-Serve Warehouse departments, you’ll combine customer interaction with hands-on store tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Approaching customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable home furnishing solutions.
- Actively selling the IKEA range and promoting services to enhance the customer experience.
- Keeping your area clean, well-stocked, organised and correctly priced.
- Maintaining and refreshing displays through basic visual merchandising and stock condensing.
- Replenishing stock and preparing sales spaces using safe manual handling techniques.
- Assembling products to ensure strong presentation and functionality.
- Using IKEA systems to provide accurate product information and support order placement.
- Working collaboratively with your team and other departments to deliver great results.
