This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Commercial Contracts Professional looking to step into a highly influential senior role within a global technology leader.
As our Senior Contracts Professional, you'll become a trusted commercial advisor to our sales, tendering and project delivery teams, leading commercial and contractual negotiations across some of Australia's most significant infrastructure, electrification and automation projects.

You'll have the opportunity to shape commercial strategy, influence major business decisions and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our business. What you'll be doing
You'll partner closely with sales, bid, project and leadership teams to develop commercial strategies that balance opportunity with risk while creating successful outcomes for both Siemens and our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex commercial and contractual negotiations with customers, ensuring commercially sound and sustainable agreements
- Providing commercial, financial and contractual guidance throughout the tendering and bidding process, including pricing, terms and conditions, cash flow and risk assessments
- Analysing commercial and contractual risk across multiple concurrent opportunities and developing practical strategies to mitigate exposure
- Managing a high volume of complex tenders and projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and commercial judgement
- Building trusted relationships with customers and becoming a valued commercial partner who creates long-term value
- Collaborating across legal, finance, procurement, engineering, project management, sales and executive leadership to deliver integrated commercial solutions
- Working with Siemens' global commercial network to leverage best practice and support our One Tech Company strategy.
About you
You're an experienced Commercial Contracts Professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing commercial opportunity with sound risk management.
You bring substantial experience analysing commercial and contractual risk and are comfortable managing multiple complex negotiations simultaneously.
You'll ideally bring:
- Significant experience in contract management, commercial negotiations or commercial management within complex project, engineering, infrastructure or technology environments
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial and contractual risk analysis and mitigation
- Proven experience leading commercial and contractual negotiations with customers
- The ability to manage a demanding workload across multiple bids, tenders and projects
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline are desirable; however, equivalent commercial experience within sales, tendering, contract management or project environments will be highly regarded.
